Objective The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme aims at developing a trainee-teacher's subject knowledge, pedagogical skills and professional conduct through a balanced mix of academic study and supervised classroom practice. Students are prepared to take up teaching positions in schools with confidence and competence.

The specific objectives of the programme are to:

Produce competent, confident and ethical teachers for schools.
Build strong subject knowledge along with modern teaching methods and classroom management skills.
Provide hands-on teaching practice and internship in schools as part of the training.
